Ice Hockey
The violence and the un-needed gore,
Has had too much influence on thy game;
What remained thy same was thy wanteth to score,
But players still wanteth to bring thy pain;
The excitement keeps the crowd on their feet;
The offense skates like thee are on fire,
They haveth records ye simply can’t beat;
The offense’s want to score so dire;
They rush down thy ice to retrieve thy puck,
But thou defense is there to protect it;
Some of thy goals are out of just pure luck;
Getting thy puck thou can always get hit;
Pucks, sticks and a desire of winning,
That is thy start of a new beginning.
