Lonely Regret
She sits alone in the corner,
Her hair covering her eyes,
Feelings of regret,
As she remembers all her lies,
She pulls her knees up to her chest,
Her face falls in her hands,
She's confined to just that corner,
As her loneliness expands,
She knows she was completely wrong,
She's known it from the start,
But who knew that one small lie,
Would break everybody's heart,
She wishes she could start again,
But she knows she can't go back,
So there she cries in her dark corner,
For love she'll always lack.
