The monsters came to get me in the middle of the night
They tried to get my daddy but he wouldn't go without a fight
They made me leave me teddy bear; they made me cut my hair
They made me get undressed to be completely bare.
Mommy said to just believe everything will be ok
But when i saw the others, they was nothing i could say
The monsters came to get her in the middle of the night
She cried so much and held me ever so tight
That was the last time i saw her
and i will never forget
I didn't dream of monsters that night, as i slept.
