As you look up into the sky above,
Or as you witness the passing of a duck or dove,
Does it not make you wonder why . . . .
Humans were not meant to fly.
As you look up into the sky never-ending,
Which has no sign of stopping or beginning,
Does it not make you wonder why . . .
Humans were not meant to fly.
Or if you hear the roar of a plane,
Does it not make you want to soar, in vein,
For on contrary and through only spite,
Humans can only make use of machines for flight,
If only man was born with wings,
If man could mimic the sound a songbird sings,
If only humans had wings so they could fly,
So we might lift our wings and never die
