The Bell
A bell has fallen from the sky
Aiming to hurt, to maim
Missing by a breadth of time
My heart is still intact there
Fear of a recurrence tears at my heart
The passive lies surround me
Reforming me into a different life
From what I once was living
Fear of anger
Fear of hate
Anger at the sight of tears
That is my fate.
Forever lost to the cold emotional world
I cannot be passive
Nor emotionless
Impossibilities seem the best solutions
But realities still better
No matter the hate
The anger
The tears.
A bell has fallen from the sky
Aiming to kill, to destroy
Missing by a breadth of time
My heart is still intact there
No more fear
No more lies
All I am
I am inside
This, this is my alibi.
