I’m searching for the right
Words to write
I’m stumped and confused
Which words should I use?
I’m getting frustrated,
After many days and blue lines
Black ink
And worthless rhymes
There’s one.
Expectation of inspiration
Does a clever line come to mind?
No.
Mine are overused comparisons –
Metaphor is good for the mind,
Not my weak and boring rhymes
… sorry. Used
that already.
Oh well, my pen is dry.
I am not satisfied, but, alas:
I have nothing left to say.
