Red Scarf
I set my boots upon the ground,
And gazed at white that flew around,
The wind had made a whispering sound
Before blowing my scarf away.
Color red went through the sky,
It gave a gesture to me good bye,
And the moment after it died,
It was buried beneath the snow.
My neck stood against the white,
It received a kiss from the snow mid-flight,
It seemed to me that it felt alright,
So I continued life through the day.
That night I set my eyes upon space,
As the moon shone on my smiling face,
I chose a thought to forever embrace:
Why can’t these days last forever?
