Looking Glass
The mirror stares back at me
It speaks no lies
But this can't be the truth
Those aren't my deceiving eyes
Have I let myself change
In this mess we call life
Is all this horrid pain
Caused by my own knife
I falter a minute
This can't really be me
But I know this is real
It's beyond what I see
It's only a looking glass
No mirage or trick
Still its reflection screams at me
Making me sick
I suppose it's true
I've become what I hate
Maybe I can go back
Or maybe it's too late
