Seasons
As the last leaf falls from a tree in autumn
So my last tear falls for you
Barren branches wait for spring to come
And I wait for something new
I watch the branches become covered in snow
As winter takes over with bitter cold
My anger then begins to grow
And my thoughts start to unfold
But as the snow melts away
New life begins to appear
My hatred slowly wilts and decays
And somehow you find me here
Like summer coming on so fast
You find a way back in my heart
A brand new season is here at last
And you promise it won't depart
But the summer soon will die
Just as every year before
Under the leaf barren tree I lie
And face these seasons once more
