tears running down her face
as she looks out her window
he starts the car
off into the distance
never to be seen again
she runs out the door
only to see the smoke from his exhaust pipes
and she falls to the ground
overwhelmed with pain
she feels so alone
her mother is in her bedroom
she drank too much
she’s passed out on her bed
as her daughter goes through this
why did he have to go?
why does it have to be this way?
