I gaze upon the gaudy flame
I gaze upon the gaudy flame
Of the fire, like in my heart is so untamed.
I look inside for some control,
But the blaze inside won’t cease its hold.
Too young for love,
Too wise to deny, the feelings held so deep inside.
The urge to love and to be love in return,
Cannot be filled; leaving me only to yearn.
Every boy who comes my way,
Have haughty eyes, to my dismay.
To proud to love,
To blind to see,
That in this life there is only one key:
Prove yourself to no one,
And let love set you free.
