Ignorant Snow
Fluffy, white pieces of heaven,
Gently drift down to mask a broken earth,
Creating an illusion of sweet innocence and blessèd purity.
Yet dark, still glowing green softly peeks,
Hopefully searching for its glorious lover of gold.
Whilst a deep shadow of the caressing air heavily settles,
And chokes out all faith in cleansed and virtuous beauty.
For knowledge loving beasts soon forsake,
The extrodinary power of what ought to be,
And debase all of what once was,
To let it become that which it is.
Then slowly, liken to the falling white liars,
They allow witless fate to rule.
