So I'll Wait
I lie here awake
And as I look to the sky
A feeling of helplessness
Crosses through my mind
I think of you
And a tear slips away
And I'm left here alone again
Just waiting to see your face
And I'll wait
Because thats all I can do
And I'll wish
For something new
As I dream
Of laughing with you
Like we used to
Like we used to
The pictures of you
Seem to stare me down
I miss your beautiful smile
I miss your beautiful frown
This uninvited pain
Has tore me apart
From the inside
Of what used to be my heart
So I'll wait
Because thats all I can do
And I'll wish
For something new
As I dream
Of laughing with you
Like we used to
Like we used to
And theres so many things
That I wish I could change
If I could go back in time
I would make it all better
But no matter what comes
No matter what happens
I'll be here waiting
And I'll love you forever.
So I'll wait
Because thats all I can do
And I'll wish
For something new
As I dream
Of laughing with you
Like we used to
LIke we used to...

This seemed more like....a spoken song. That's the way it came in my head. It's really good and I love how you repeat
like we use to.
It gives the poem depth.
