The Last Seconds of the Game
Sitting in a large crowd,
The audience,
Hearing the crowd around me,
Cheering and screaming loudly,
Until the clock starts,
It's counting down fast,
Then everything grows quiet,
As if no one is there but me,
The tension in the air grows thick,
So thick one could almost,
Cut it with a knife,
As everyone awaits that last shot,
People start cheering again,
Getting others in along as well,
Swoosh the player throws the ball,
It's like it's all in slow motion,
Then finally the ball makes it,
To the hoop,
Swoosh...in it goes
