Disturbia
I lay motionless.
On my bedroom floor.
The white walls.
Surround me.
Envelope me.
Soaking up all the sounds.
My mind is racing.
My heart is heavy.
Lead.
The neon light.
Flickers.
On and off and on.
Terror.
A door creeks open.
A lay paralyzed.
With fear.
Shadows creep.
Acroos the floor.
Grabbing.
Pulling me under.
The smell.
Of blood and bleach.
Is strong.
Sterilizing.
Searing my mind.
Memories unfolding.
A clock ticks.
Counting down.
To my death.
Doom.
A scream.
Gets caught in my throat.
Choking.
Gagging.
Cold clammy sweat.
Covers my bare.
Arms and neck.
My t-shirt.
Sticks to my body.
I beg.
For the nightmare.
To end.
To wake up.................
...............................
My eyes flicker open.
My mind is blank.
Reality.
Is more frightening.
The any nightmare.
