Ode to summer
Lightening bugs
Grassy rugs
Cars drive afar
Lights glow on a long tall bar
All I hear
Is the gently wind whispering in my ear
I have nothing to fear
For the warmth that comforts me is near
A summers’ night sky
Glistens and twinkles as the sun says good bye
Time does not fly
Actually, it seems to stop as birds fly high
Silence is bliss
The reckless screaming will not be missed
Ow!
Nor will the mosquito’s kiss
Ah summer thou art so strange yet pleasing
