The author's comments:

This poem is not exactly about what it seems. To some people it may seem to be about how I take beautiful to be an insult... But it's not. I wrote this when someone called me beautiful and I just couldn't see what they were seeing. So beautiful isn't bad, I just couldn't understand how I was beautiful.
