Taking Chances
I wished someone would take me
Somewhere far away from here
To share my deepest secrets
And throw away my fears.
I thought I'd found that someone,
Who knew I could be so wrong,
Until one day I took a chance
On someone I hadn't known for long
Who knew that I would find what
I had wished for for so long,
In someone who could mean so much
And never do any wrong.
My wish has now been granted,
I still can't quite believe it's true,
That I could find such happiness
In no one else but you.
