TREES, SKIES, AND THE SUN
We fall from the trees at night
And so we wake in the morning, so bright
We ask the sun why we must rise
Then it tells us what we don’t do right
We walk outside and see the lies
From all the superficial open skies
They try to tell us who we are
While they sit and ignore our cries
We run away to reach a star
But it finds us and puts us at the bar
When you cannot see it that’s when its there
And we become trapped like in a jar
But truth be told there is a care
For all our love still can share
And we know this love is very rare
But the trees, skies, and the sun aren’t really telling us what we hear
