A SWEET MEMORY
I sit and think
I think about everything
Everything that was said
To everything that was never said
I think about the times we laughed
And the times we hugged and kissed
I think and I remember
But in the end I just don't know why
I don't know why I think about you all the time
And I don't know why I can't get you off my mind
But I can't
And sometimes there's no use in trying
Your just a dehydrated memory that's constantly wanting to be watered
My mind like the stomach of a starving child waiting to be feed
It thrives for you constantly
And honestly
I don't even try to stop it anymore.
