Graffiti

I draw on paper and they ask me not to
I draw on things that are mine and they ask why I do so
I say graffiti is an art not a bad idea
I say graffiti expresses how I feel
It’s not something bad or a big deal
I say they can’t stop me but they put laws in
I go to jail and get convicted, like a criminal
For drawing on walls and paper, how horrible
Graffiti is my way of artistic expression but they say it’s bogus
They don’t know what art is, not just stick people and logos
But graffiti is my art not their’s, so deal with it.
