I am the master of my fate and the captain of my soul.

Summer sun-
on my skin,
sweltering heat,
held within.
Fall leaves-
drifting down.
Pretty colors
all around.
Winter's here-
snowy days.
Cocoa served
different ways.
Spring time-
fresh air,
flowers, flowers
everywhere!

The author's comments:
I was inspired to write this while I was sitting under my oak tree. I realized how the seasons just fly by. So I wrote a poem about them. I hope people will learn to appreciate every season, even if it's dreaded, like Winter. There is always something good about the seasons.

The goal is not about living forever, the goal is about creating something that can.

Wow, this poem really flows! It's so beautifully written, and very poetic (which is good since its a poem, lol). Nice!

I love this!!! It was so simple, yet I loved the way you did it. It had a definite rhythm to it. It's very good. :)

Great poem!  I like how it explains how the seasons just fly by (unless it's winter in Canada!).  Excellent work!
