I probably shouldn’t confess
But I’ve had enough
I laugh, I smile, I breathe
Even though I wish I was dead
I’m the quiet kind
I don’t complain
I’m the teacher’s pet
My friends are slipping away
Its enough to feel like
A reject at school
But to feel like a stranger
In your own home?
On the outside
I’m confident, smart
Even happy
But on the inside
I’m shattering to pieces….
