The Only One
How do I tell you
How much you mean to me?
I can see into your loving eyes
The sparkling blue that leaves me mesmerized
For the second I look at you
I melt inside
My knees become weak
And I feel like I'm in heaven
The only one that gets me
And that's just it...
I can be me
No more secrets
No more lies
To satisfy other people and their standards
I turn and see you
But when you look back
I look away
I am at a loss for words
Because I am afraid that whatever I say,
You will turn me away
Fearful of rejection
And you not loving me
But to me it's different
Because you are the only one I see.
