Why doesn't true love ever die?
Why doesn't true love ever die?
Even when we want it to
Even when are hearts have had enough
And the pain is too much to bear
Love stays in our hearts
Keeping us suspended in confusion
Many times I've called to the outskirts of my soul
If only to find a solution to my problem
Why do I still feel this way about her
Why can't I let go
Killing me softly, my heart gives way to love
Yet doesn't give anesthetic to ease the pain
My life, forever to be weighed down by this conflict
Ceases to exist
