The sun shimmers in the distance,
Gazing out across the water.
Ship masts pierce the wraiths of fog
That haunt the lake shore.
Crimson and gold play upon the water,
Rising and falling with the tide.
Mountains are silhouetted against the morning sky,
Etched upon an orange canvas.
Another day begins.
