Walk in the landscape of my life:
the sunrise over the horizon
never looked darker.
But with the prospect of
seeing you again
has made a particularly bright
spot to look forward to;
The Hawaiian night sky
looks even clearer
and more starlit than ever;
the thought of meeting you
has turned these heavens
from overcast and gray
to iridescent and beautiful.
You are the white
to my otherwise pitch-black canvas.
You are my guiding light.
