A Teacher's Day
Her fingers are covered in coarse white dust. Her throat is sore from talking all day long. Her hands are covered in paper cuts from shuffling papers. Her hands are cramping from writing all day. Her feet hurt from walking aroung the classroom in high heels all day. She feels like she ran a marathon. Instead of complaining and whining, she smiles all day, watching her students learn their multiplication tables and her eyes well up when they hand her pictures they have drawn for her. It's just another day in the life of a teacher.
