I am a candle
I am a candle, nestled, comfy in the holder of an old chandelier, I burn. Darkness dissipates as light soon flows throughout the room. Charging, Snarling, and Raging like a wild bull. The Black Night flees into the corner shadows in fear, As the horns pierce Its armor. For with one touch The Darkness disappears. I'm surrounded by others like me. We live together in a world all our own. Many are young and many are old, Wax drips from our eyes when our friends have to leave. I'm not afraid of going. My space is only so much on this world. Though now when I'm bound to my home, I know that when my light becomes dark My soul shall join the clouds.
