“Heaven Is Lost”
“Heaven Is Lost”
The bell chimes,
Memories flashing through my mind,
The air fills with children’s laughter,
Our innocence lost to that disaster.
And I remember the days,
The days long past,
Where time was something meant to last,
For never had I’ve realized once,
That my life could fade so fast…
Now we’re running for our lives,
Holding hands side by side,
And even though I can’t fight back the tears any longer,
Or admit that you’ve always been stronger,
You’re always there for me,
Helping me up when I have faltered.
