He Won
My neon green nails, shining in the sun,
It doesn't matter if I fail - because I'm having fun.
Splashing in the pool, the wind in my hair,
The breeze feels cool, and I don't even care.
I know I should be happy - but the chances of that are slim.
I start to feel crappy - and all I see is him.
Because no matter what this summer brings, no matter how much fun,
No matter how many songs I sing - I still know he won.
I cared about him more, than he ever cared about me,
My heart is frickin' SORE - and he'll never even see!
He'll be lounging by the pool, having so much fun.
Thinking he's so cool - not knowing that he won.
He'll forget about us, when he doesn't speak my name,
I don't want to make a fuss, BUT I HATE HOW HE'S THE SAME!
He's mean and rude, he's obsessed with money,
His jokes are really crude - he's not even funny!
He has stupid hair, he's not very smart.
He always swears and...
He broke my heart.
