The Lamb and the Lion
The Lamb was foolish by nature.
A very simple but gentle creature.
She loved the sun and life.
The Lion was cold and angry.
He was sad and very lonely.
He loved the moon and death.
That Little Lamb took a big chance one day.
She cuddled right up next to that Angry Lion.
He told her to go away, go away, go away.
But the Little Lamb loved that angry lion.
And something amazing happened...
All hope lies bruised beneath the snow.
My heart no longer belongs to me
but clings to thoughts of you.
How far will our dreams really go?
Please, loneliness, let this love be.
I want to run to you.
In the spring, I promise, things will change.
We will laugh and love each other always.
Our hearts will be one under the lovely sun.
The moon will sing songs to the sea.
Please, fate, let this love be.
I want to run to you.
That Angry Lion began to smile.
The Little Lamb did also smile.
All his fears and pain melted with the new fallen snow.
The Lion thought love was something he would never know.
Love overflowed in their hearts as the flowers bloomed.
"The sun will rise again.
I still have faith in this world."
The Little Lamb said.
"Even monsters are afraid of the dark.
So please, bring me to the light."
The helpless Lion begged.
And the lamb laid next to the lion.
In the spring, our hearts will melt.
We will no longer be cold.
I would like that, I would like that.
