Beep...Beep...Beep
Based on "Cassey at the Bat"
It had been a regular day at Berkley Town Highschool;/
it was filled with work, fools, and those who tried to play it cool./
The dismissing bell was soon to ring and all would be free!/
The bell rang; Sam was the first to leave, like a rushing bee./
When he arrived home he was glad to see his family./
Sam did all his homework and played with his brother Billy./
Sam finished spending great dinner time and family time./
Soon came sleeping time in his room;colored blue and lime./
"I'm so sleepy", said Sam in a yawning and tiered voice./
Slowly he fell upon his bed and didn't want any noise;/
for if there was any small noise he could not sleep with ease./
He began to fall asleep but he heard a noisy breeze.
"Oh no, I must go to sleep", said Sam with security./
He closed his eyes and smiled with familiarity./
Suddenly, a fearfull "BOOM!" came abruptly to his ear./
Sam thought, "I must sleep, although a thunderstorm I may hear".
Again, Sam closed his eyes and tried to have a good night sleep;/
but he could not sleep because he heard every single "peep"./
His ears were more sensible than other sleeping nights./
Sam could even hear when someone turned on the bathroom lights!/
Sam was exhausted and was not getting valuable rest./
Sam, said "I must rest for tomorrow I have a big test!"/
He reached for a large pillow and covered his ears with it./
Sam whispered "I hope now, I can sleep at least a little bit"./
Finally, Sam was able to fall into a deep sleep,/
but instantly he was awakened by a "Beep... Beep... Beep"./
It was morning and the "Beep... Beep... Beep"came from his alarm clock./
Sam had to wake up and wait for the school bus in his block./
