hand within hand.
You're near me

Awkward silences,
side glances
Who will make the first move?
Trying to build up the courage to speak.
Look back at you,
nerves swipe across my face.
Too shay,
back down
Pulling at my heartstrings
I can't get up the nerve.
Take on more step back.
He can tell.
Break the ice, please.
Pulse pounding silences,
I take another step back.
