Wonderland

Alice’s voice is ringing in my head.
She wants me to come back to Wonderland.
Where nothing is as it seems.
Just beyond the cliff and down the rabbit hole,
There’s a different world.
“A doctor a day keeps the apples away.”
That’s how it goes here.
There are no mothers.
There are no fathers.
We just are.
The clouds whirl over my head.
Like they’re going a hundred miles per hour.
I like it here.
It’s where I escape from reality.
A place where I finally be free.
A place where I can just be me.
