Depressed Poem
Anger and rage approach the light
Shaking in the heat caused by fright
Absence of love damages a soul
Heat penetrated by a cold, steel pole
Simple rhyme and word don’t impress
But can broadcast an idea without stress
The day was cold as the glacier’s heart
Drunken eye stumbled upon liquid art
Inebriated and sloppy as a mad man’s hand
Transcending is impossible if you can’t stand
My sanity was a ghost, transparent to eye
Can not be touched like the unicorn’s thigh
I have found myself being lost
And lost my ability to be found
When I slipped on the devil’s frost
And could never escape the pits in the ground
