I left you
Two years ago.
When your son bet away
His college fund.
You have asked,
Pleaded, and begged me to come back.
When I finally did,
You shunned me away at your front step.
Maybe you didn't recognize me,
But then again, maybe you did.
You wanted me back,
But you could never really welcome me back.
I was your trust.
