Reflections
I look into the mirror sometimes
and stare at my reflection with a heavy heart
I let my feelings out with rhymes
and they become sweet art
I read my work and feel at peace
I began to smile
my sad thoughts begin to cease
and my sadness seems to be worthwhile
Yet I still see that reflection in the mirror
and my anguish becomes even clearer
