Sometimes, life stays
Static, unchanging,
The same as always;
The same is
Unwelcome,
The new is called bliss.
Then comes many
Tribulations,
Life’s tragedies.
As things unravel,
The mind at once
Begins to travel
Back to those
“Good old days”
When almost
Everything was
Simple, dependable,
Lacking flaws.
