I Have Been Used
I look into your eyes,
No love do I receive.
Underneath your smile are lies,
I have been deceived.
Broken and battered,
Beaten and bruised.
My heart is forever shattered,
I have been used.
I can still hear the cries,
Of my heart's despair.
When she happily sighs,
As you play with her hair.
Your name is deeply carved,
In the middle of my heart.
It is permanently scarred.
Loving you isn't smart.
It is you I despise,
Who tricked me without care.
Now all i can do is advise,
To avoid this heartbreak of terror.
Broken and battered,
Beaten and bruised.
My heart is forever shattered.
I have been used.
