When in the spotlight this little girl
took everyone by surprise
Her hair was curled her eyes were blue
her extremely small size
she twiddled her thumbs and stomped her foot
she could not sit still
the audience stared, her time was running out
she had no time to kill
She closed her eyes and opened her mouth
A melody soon came out
After she was done the crown stood up
To clap and cheer and shout
She ran off stage with a smile ear to ear
Her mom hugged her and shed a tear.
