The proposal

The sky is so young,
Yet the starts are so bright,
Wondering if it could happen on a night like tonight,
I just have to simply tell her how I feel,
Then look her in the eyes and take a kneel,
Will you marry me?
That’s what I’ll say,
As I cross my fingers and begin to pray,
Pray that she says yes as we smile and share laughter,
Having a family together and living happily ever after.
