Destinies Entwined
Twice entwined,
Eyes of black,
And hearts that shine.
Weak they are apart,
Combined they have the strength,
To withstand the greatest attempts to thwart.
A bond unbreakable,
Not of siblings,
But of distant blood unshakeable.
Thrice they shall be tested,
Once by man with heart of beast,
Once by a truest friend never bested,
And once by a tempest from the east.
In the end,
They must stand together,
Or to the will of enemies,
They shall bend.
Eyes that meet,
Hearts that touch,
Together never in retreat.
Date of birth the same,
Destinies entwined,
To win this frightful game.
