Revealed
His love is like that new ring
Shiny with its lustrous gold
Like a song the radio will sing
Something new and bold
His love is like those flowers
He left on the porch that day
Like those silent hours
We love to waste away
His love was like venom
I loved to wear his jacket
Made of faded denim
We laughed and made a racket
But his love was like that new ring
Which was really copper
Like the stolen song the radio will sing
In my heart, a stopper
The bleeding in my chest
The scars left unseen
I thought you were the best
I thought your heart as clean
But you have smashed the glass
With out sorrow
I threw your flowers off the over pass
I leave in the morrow
Such a tender place
Was my heart
when i saw your face
ripped by your lying dart
I am damaged now
But i am stronger
I will not before you cow
You could not be wronger
For in the places we break
We are healed
And we are not fake
We are revealed
