Faith
Father why does the wind stay unseen
Even as we watch it fly through the trees
And feel its sweet kiss on a summer day
But I may watch as it carries dust faraway
Father why can I not see the light
Its battle with darkness in the night
For when it shines I may see all around
But my eyes see no light even as it surrounds
Father why can I not see the air of breath
While it keeps us from the grip of death
And why of it do we so easily forget
Even as to it we owe all our lives debt
Father why can I not see you above
As you rain down your unfailing love
Like the wind the light and the air
I may be blind but you are there
