Bittersweet
I don't regret a moment
It all meant something
It was a bittersweet symphony
We will forever live in infamy
Now begins a new era
One without so much smeared mascara
I'd do it all over
Without a single change
Even the horrible ending
Because I'm through mending
Believe me I've tried
Trust me, each tear was bona fide
In a way, it still hurts
To see you with a new girl
To watch you love her
Is that who you prefer
I said it was bittersweet
Is that why I feel so incomplete
The war we started
And the war we ended
Will be a faint memory soon
Then this won't feel so inopportune
But that's why this is so bittersweet
Knowing "us" can never be on repeat
