Colors of Kraktoa
Krakatau is black,
Like the soft sand on the beach we sank our feet in,
Ghostly smoke the volcano puffed up,
And the night sky covered in twinkling stars.
Krakatau is yellow,
Like the blazing sun shining above us,
The unique seashells the wave swept onto shore,
And the banana boat carrying excited shrieks.
Krakatau is baby blue,
Like the morning sky covered with white puffy clouds,
Fish that squirmed nervously past me,
And the salty ocean water we splashed in.
