Desert
Of lonely nothingness
Beasts of my soul
Who long to learn to drink
From the world's simple joy
Of prosperous islands that shimmer on the brink
They feed off pure mirages
Those deceivingly wicked tricks
I lie under a blistering sun
Long have I laid like this
Craving only death
To pull me from these
Rolling sands of misery and sorrow.
And rest as all eternity lolls b
