Poetry In Motion
Wasted words and wasted pages
Running on the storm still rages
I climb the walls but fall back down
In all this ink I just might drown
Every line makes me laugh and makes me cry
Each letter like a bullet from a Drive-by
Chewing on my pencil I carry on
Leaving myself before I’m gone
They laugh and say the rhymes are pointless
I stare and say that’s just a guess
