The Story of Crimson's Daughter
Grief,
Like a shadow in the darkest night.
And Crimson,
Red as the blood trapped in me
And wishes to be free -
Wild and bright
As the flickering firelight.
Grief is the cloud with no silver lining -
For Crimson he is pining.
Happiness broke the wall of silence,
And together, they brought violence.
Their children are draped in a shroud of sadness
And are happy when in pain
And their wrists are bloodstained.
I must be one of them -
A half creature, a thing -
The daughter of Crimson
And a child of Grief.
One day, Crimson came to me...
"Come, my child."
She smiled.
Her words were whispered in the wind -
"Hurting is not a sin."
I smiled too,
Took her hand,
And Happiness led me away
Into a dark with no days.

I read someone else's poem about emotions, and I just really, really, REALLY wanted to write because it was SO AWESOME, and so I did.
